I will be at the Alkebulan Festival in Hitchen on Sunday, 30th October, part of the Black history month celebrations in the UK.
Organised by Black Voices Letchworth, festivals like this are invaluable. They provide the opporunity for writers like me to meet the public and talk about our books. I will be sharing about my novel Looking Up which will be available to buy at the festival.
Looking Up is about the highs and lows of 13 year old Esi after she moves from Ghana to live with her estranged mother in London, England. A compelling story about family, friendship and starting again.
